Sunrise is in my face every morning,
and the birdsong is intense from well before Dawn.
Looking South, late morning
Looking North, late morning
And, a pheasant Hen, sitting tight in the afternoon sunlight
"Hence it is, that we every Day find Men in Conversation
contending warmly on some Point in Politicks,
which, altho' it may nearly concern them both,
neither of them understand any more
than they do each other."
-- Ben Franklin 1729

That's a spectacular view, Ed! What animals can you hear at night, out of interest?
foxes, deer, owls, and LOADS of waterfowl on the highest tides at midnight.
This link tells a story.
Glad you enjoy the surfing. Hope your difficulties resolve themselves.
