The View from Bed

Dusk colours accent the different new leaves in the forest

Sunrise is in my face every morning,
and the birdsong is intense from well before Dawn.

Looking South, late morning

Looking North, late morning

And, a pheasant Hen, sitting tight in the afternoon sunlight

That's a spectacular view, Ed! What animals can you hear at night, out of interest?

Prosperity depends more on wanting what you have than having what you want.

"If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of
fighting a foreign enemy." --James Madison

"There was never a good war or a bad peace." ~ Benjamin Franklin

"War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies
and debts and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under
the domination of the few." ~ James Madison
